During the research phase of The Blood Of Angels – book 1 in the Clare Woodbrook series – I went on trips to Frankfurt in Germany and Paris in France – taking pictures of the sleaziest bits to save you the bother of visiting. You’re welcome. 😉
Other bits of the book are set in Koblenz and Cologne in Germany, and London in England. You can see galleries of the pictures below. (Please note the Koblenz ones are stock images – I went there before I thought about using it as a book location!). I’ve also copied the Cologne gallery from the Anna page in case you’ve missed that one.

FRANKFURT – including the red light district, the Zeil shopping district, and the financial district. No spoilers, haha.
PARIS – including the leafy avenue where Clare’s hotel was based, the Gare du Nord train station, the seedy Pigalle area (with the Moulin Rouge and even a rubbish truck!) and the Le Train Bleu restaurant.
KOBLENZ – Stock images showing Koblenz and its views over the Rhine
COLOGNE – including the Excelsior Hotel Ernst, which is kind of where it all went wrong…
